On April 11, 2023, the South Loop Project team hosted an in-person public meeting for community members to view initial design concepts based on feedback collected during the first round of public engagement. For those who were unable to attend the public meeting, view the presentation video to learn more about the initial design concepts. Survey #2 closed on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.
Thank you for sharing what YOU imagine for the South Loop Project! The project team is ready to share initial design concepts based on feedback collected at the first public meeting and through the online survey.
View and comment on initial design concepts based on over 1,600 survey responses about preferred park amenities. The South Loop project team is hosting an in-person public meeting from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, at The Gallery event space. A 30-minute presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by an open house to review initial park designs and provide feedback.
The Gallery is located at 61 E 14th St, Kansas City, MO 64105. Transportation options include RideKC Bus, KC Streetcar, bike, walk or ride. Parking validation is available for the Cosentino’s Parking Garage and the KC Live! Parking Garage. We look forward to seeing you on April 11!

Public Meeting Details
- The Gallery is located in the Power & Light District, adjacent to the project area. (Venue map)
- The door to enter The Gallery Event Space is located between The Bristol and BRGR.

Enter through the main glass doors and take the stairs or elevator to the 2nd floor.
- A 30-minute presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m.
- If you can’t make it, a video of the presentation will be posted online following the public meeting.
